DALIT THEATRE WORKSHOP & FESTIVAL ON 25 OF MAY 2007 in Villupuram (Puducherry)Tamil Nadu- SOUTH INDIA- with ADECOM Network NGO

Theatre as a tool to defend Human Rights, and here precisely Dalit ones (Untouchables)... Anyone who’s amateurs of popular theatre, eager to understand the persistent situation of Dalit people in the India of today, or if you feel you have a volunteer soul ... you have to plan a more or less long halt in Puducherry area joining the Indian NGO ADECOM Network based in Puducherry.
I hold at your disposal the Network-Festival program (English Word format) and transmit you a message of P.LALIDA, person in charge for ADECOM Network, seeking for volunteers to cover this first Indian national event about Dalit Theatre and at the end of to prepare a complete documentation to communicate and make living this initiative.

"You are interested on oppressed theatre, or doing some research/study in ? Come and join us to participate to this workshop and stay here for several weeks to study about Dalit theatre.
    We need volunteers :
    - to prepare the document in English and finalize by himself/herself the material in our place.
    - interested on video/photo documents to present pictures as the international standard (because in our local experience the quality is poor).
    - to take care of the web design and update the information to circulate for others.
If any journalist interest to do the document, as well to design the newsletter to give it more useful for the artists and the public, please contact us. »
Thanking you. In Solidarity, P.LALIDA adecomn@gmail.com ADECOM Network - Dalit Human Rights - http://adecomnetwork.org/
